A German title, but actually a German-language magazine for German-speaking American housewives. By the early twentieth century there were millions of immigrants who could be customers for this. See the publishing information below, taken from a 1911 issue, demonstrating who published the magazine and where it was published. Unfortunately, the Library of Congress has only spotty coverage of this magazine. As far as we can tell, it changed title to simply DIE HAUSFRAU, and was published in Milwaukee until at least September, 1941.
