A short-lived movie fan magazine, TALKING SCREEN ran from January to October 1930. Its first two issues were bi-monthly, but it soon became a monthly. Its name went out of fashion, but it changed its name to SILVER SCREEN and survived for quite a long time thereafter. Volumes from the Library of Congress have been scanned and are available on the Internet Archive at Volume 1 and Volume 2.
