VOGUE is one of the most recognizable of the women's magazines, and it's still being published today. In the 1910's it ran amazing covers by astonishing artists, and its artwork has generally been among the best. Good images of VOGUE covers are hard to find, and copies trade at high premiums on eBay. We'd like to have more good images for you here; but the fact is that most of the collections of bound volumes in libraries have been raped by barbarian antique dealers with razor blades. A good short history of this magazine can be found at the eNewsstand project.
