Open Road for Boys 1936-09

Two guys mountain-climbing up to the top of a steep peak are tied together with a rope for safety, but the rope is beginning to shred. Very unusual style of art for this magazine. "Conquerors of Rock and Ice," adventuring on Peaks of Peril; also, "Tall Tales," a Caleb Markey Air Story, and "Getting Ready for Football."
