Sunset

SUNSET began as an advertising and publicity magazine for the Southern Pacific Railroad, but in the early 20th century it became a monthly magazine of more general interest, while still maintaining its regional quality. In the late 1920's it was sold to Melvin Lane, who converted it to a suburban lifestyle magazine focused on the West; see here for the later issues.
