Santa Fe Railroad -1900A

A nice ink drawing of the Grand Canyon, though the man in the foreground kind of blends into the majesty of the background, making his actual size uncertain. Easily reached from Williams, Arizona, by railroad, with only 11 miles stage ride. (These days, the train goes all the way.) I guess that's a burro packed up with miner's or camper's gear, as it's too small to be a mule. Published in an unidentified magazine in 1900.
