Keller-Santo Vacuum Cleaners -1910A

Vaguely frightening image of a housemaid, for one, welcoming her vacuum robot overlord as the backdraft seems to be blowing her broom, brush, and feather duster out the window. Even making the maid [deal with the household drudgery] is hard enough -- if you hope to have her stay. The man who perfected pneumatic tools -- The name of Julius Keller is well known to the engineering world, whose huge steel structures resound to his "Riveting Hammers" and other air driven labor saving devices. Scarier and scarier. Let's go find a copy of the keller-Santo booklet "The Dustless Home." This ad published in the September, 1910 issue of GOOD HOUSEKEEPING.
