Golden Age Macaroni -1919A
There are a lot of cultural messages in this ad, so we'll get on with it. The Cleveland Macaroni Company, modern macaroni makers, had an artist paint this cute little boy standing up in his crib and cheering the arrival of his 'roni. Golden Age supplies Meat from Wheat, with Americanized Macaroni, the biggest food value in America for ten cents. In little type is the recipe! Also, write for the free "Calorie Cook Book," which includes the caloric value of each of its 52 ways of preparing macaroni, spaghetti, and noodles. Macaroni is the making of a man, says this ad from the August, 1919 issue of the LADIES' HOME JOURNAL.
