Puffed Grain Cereals -1918A

Generic ad for all puffed cereals, admonishing consumers to eat cereals since there was a shortage of bread due to World War One. Little girl sits on the porch step and eats her bowl of cereal in milk, the "Milk Dish." Puffed rice, corn puffs, and puffed wheat, all bubbled grains, priced higher in the Far West. Four times as porous as even peace-time bread.
