Man and woman sitting on a trunk, the woman trying to make sense of a very long and complicated travel itinerary. Off in the background a railway porter carries their bags and a set of golf clubs. "In these days of ankles on display, it's rather nice to display one's ankles -- provided, of course, that the hose are Holeproof." They make hosiery for men as well as women, but no one is looking at the man's silk-clad legs. Published in the April 9, 1921 issue of
